When Ryan and I got home from the hospital I was asked if I have another baby in my tummy!

While Ryan was taking care of Natalie Alison comes up to him and say's "The doctor takes the baby out of mommy's tummy but how did she get in?"

This last week or so we've had Alison with the flu, Leah with an Ear Infection and I was pretty sick with the flu/cold and Emma was feeling a little left out. So she told Ryan she was feeling sick last night. Ryan asked what was wrong and she said "Dad I can't talk that's what's wrong!"

So This is How it All Came About....

Sept 26 2009 My mom was driving into Blythe from Utah and she arrived around
7pm. I just finished making dinner as she was driving in.
About 8pm I started getting some contractions. Not thinking anything cause I thought
for sure they would go away. We got the girls in bed and my mom was exhausted so she turned in also. I was getting Leah ready for bed when I noticed the contractions haven't stopped.
Ryan gets home around 10:30pm from working a double
and I mentioned I've been having contractions since 8pm but I'm tired
and I'm sure they will go away once I go to bed.
Well Ryan didn't want to take a chance and said we're going in.
So we both got ready and told my mom we're going.
And I'm sure glad we did!
My contractions we're consistent the whole drive.
We were admitted around 2Am.
Got my epidural at 7am.
Felt some pressure around 9:30am.
My Doctor was on call and she came in around 10am to check on me and
I told her I'm feeling some contractions/pressure and she said
"All right let's check you"
I was an 8 and she said my cervix was floppy (yes that's what she said, Floppy! )
And then asked if I wanted to push on my next contraction.
Of course I said yes.
I pushed 3 times and her head was half out!
Doc. Bodon said to stop pushing cause she needs to go and get all the nurses!
AND SHE LEAVES THE ROOM!!!
Both me and Ryan look at each other like....umm OK.
I asked Ryan "What if I need to push?"
He looked at me straight in the eye and said "Don't Push"
(now if you know Ryan, he's not the Best in Hospitals!)
So the doctor and nurses finally get in and are getting ready and
I have a contraction. I told them she's coming out and they said what
a women in labor does not want to hear...
"Do Not Push"
And I didn't listen.
And out came Natalie!
7lbs 2ounces
19inches long!
Ryan was able to cut the cord and I even think he cried!
Well we both cried.

So that's my Labor Story.

Update!

Today I had a doctor appointment and I've dilated to a 3! Yippy! But you have to be a 4 to be admitted to the hospital! (Bummer) My doctor asked if I wanted to be induced and I said "HECK YEAH" if you can get me in sooner then Monday that would be awesome! So she called labor and delivery and they are Full. So, if I have consistent contractions I was told to come in and my doctor will not let them send me home. And if she see's an opening she said she'll call me to see if I want to come in! So something could happen this weekend or Monday is the Day!

This last Saturday I was "Super Mom" and got
a burst of energy and thought I could do anything....
Until around 8pm when my body said
"That's enough Kim"
Here's what I accomplished
8 loads of Laundry
Dusting
Vacuuming
Cleaned my Kitchen from top to bottom
Rearranged my bedroom
(like moving furniture around!)
and Cleaned the girls bathroom!

And of course you couldn't tell right now that I did any of it!!!

Leah was helping me sort out the laundry,
or messing it up even more!

So here's an update on my pregnancy! This last Wednesday I had a Doctor
appointment and I asked my doctor to check me just to see if all this pain
is doing something! It turns out I've dilated to a 2!
When I was finally admitted with Leah I was only a 2 so this is VERY exciting news
to me! My next appointment is Thursday morning and I'll have an ultrasound
to see how big the baby is getting. I'm HOPING I've dilated to a 4 and they admit me!
With Alison Emma and Leah it takes me forever to dilate but once I'm a 5 I'm pushing
within an hour or two! So I'm really hoping all this pain and contractions are doing something!

So today I get a call from the school that Alison had a bloody noise
and if the blood gets on their clothes, they need to change.
So I'm kind of freaking out thinking her whole shirt is covered with blood.
So I load up Leah and Emma, rush over to the school and this is all I see!
Now Alison had a tank top over this shirt so when I first saw her
I COULDN'T SEE ANY BLOOD!
BUT YES those two little lines
is what I was freaking out over! It looks like dirt to me!
Oh Well

So life has been a little crazy around here! It all starts about 2 weeks ago,
We are all in the car waiting for Alison to get out of school,
and my AC stops working!!!!
Do I need to remind you I think I live in the hottest place on earth!
It had to have been 110 or so.
Well Ryan calls around and gets the van in to a local auto shop
and the guy brings it back and say's he doesn't know what is
wrong with it and leaves! Well a long story short
our compressor needs to be replaced.
So we're juggling the idea do we fix it or hold off and fix it in a month or so.
Well the weather channel made our decision for me!
We needed to fix it!
So in the mean time Ryan gets a call from Wasco asking if he is still
interested in Working there and he say's YES!
The SGT say's ok he needs to pretty much check his file and
make sure he's not under investigation and he'll call back!
So we're packing thinking OK this is going to happen in probably 3weeks.
Ryan will start RIGHT WHEN THE BABY IS DUE!
So now we're tossing the idea on me and the girls
going up in a couple weeks and hopefully Ryan can be there
when the baby is born!
Well today Ryan gets a call from Wasco and he starts Nov 9!
So a big relief in a way! He'll be with me when the baby is born
we'll have time to save for our move (since my van ate all our savings!)
and we'll be HOME for Brent's Wedding!
We're so excited and now I can stop packing! Until after the baby is born!

Tonight was Alison's Open House and she was
so excited to show us her class room.
Duh Mommy I should have taken pictures of all her projects that she has
done. Her class has been Pretty busy! They have 4 projects that they have
done in the last 2 weeks and that's what I should have taken pictures of.
We are very impressed with all they are doing and Alison was given a
Thumbs up and we were told she is a GREAT Student!
