When Ryan and I got home from the hospital I was asked if I have another baby in my tummy!

While Ryan was taking care of Natalie Alison comes up to him and say's "The doctor takes the baby out of mommy's tummy but how did she get in?"

This last week or so we've had Alison with the flu, Leah with an Ear Infection and I was pretty sick with the flu/cold and Emma was feeling a little left out. So she told Ryan she was feeling sick last night. Ryan asked what was wrong and she said "Dad I can't talk that's what's wrong!"

So This is How it All Came About....

Sept 26 2009 My mom was driving into Blythe from Utah and she arrived around
7pm. I just finished making dinner as she was driving in.
About 8pm I started getting some contractions. Not thinking anything cause I thought
for sure they would go away. We got the girls in bed and my mom was exhausted so she turned in also. I was getting Leah ready for bed when I noticed the contractions haven't stopped.
Ryan gets home around 10:30pm from working a double
and I mentioned I've been having contractions since 8pm but I'm tired
and I'm sure they will go away once I go to bed.
Well Ryan didn't want to take a chance and said we're going in.
So we both got ready and told my mom we're going.
And I'm sure glad we did!
My contractions we're consistent the whole drive.
We were admitted around 2Am.
Got my epidural at 7am.
Felt some pressure around 9:30am.
My Doctor was on call and she came in around 10am to check on me and
I told her I'm feeling some contractions/pressure and she said
"All right let's check you"
I was an 8 and she said my cervix was floppy (yes that's what she said, Floppy! )
And then asked if I wanted to push on my next contraction.
Of course I said yes.
I pushed 3 times and her head was half out!
Doc. Bodon said to stop pushing cause she needs to go and get all the nurses!
AND SHE LEAVES THE ROOM!!!
Both me and Ryan look at each other like....umm OK.
I asked Ryan "What if I need to push?"
He looked at me straight in the eye and said "Don't Push"
(now if you know Ryan, he's not the Best in Hospitals!)
So the doctor and nurses finally get in and are getting ready and
I have a contraction. I told them she's coming out and they said what
a women in labor does not want to hear...
"Do Not Push"
And I didn't listen.
And out came Natalie!
7lbs 2ounces
19inches long!
Ryan was able to cut the cord and I even think he cried!
Well we both cried.

So that's my Labor Story.
My last Labor Story
My Family Is Complete

Week 1

Week 2
Week 3
Her Hair looks light in the pictures
but it's the darkest out of all our girls.

Natalie is a VERY Good Baby. Only gets fussy when she is ready to eat!
